Recent Cabal/RAN Online Connection Problems

A lot of players call out why they can’t connect to Cabal Online, however there seems no announcement or notice from E-Games Website Forum. Same goes for RAN Online, laggy connection depending on your location. It seems all to fall since the recent server maintenance, RAN Online issues goes with when they implement the recent patch. We first try to check out the problems are true in Bayantel Connections.

I checked out and it seems to be true, RAN Online seems laggy. When I check my items sometimes it’s there and sometimes it’s not. You have to reload map, or do some teleportation and go back to your map. This is risky when in a party leveling up as your weapons might be dropped.

We will try to iron out this rumors and give you more updated info.

Rohan Online PH download problems

Many people sending us emails regarding “why it’s hard to download rohan, does rohan online ph have download problems?”

Fortunately there is no problem at all, it’s just that the server for the direct download is very, very busy from massive download from the gamers. We are not from levelup! Games, or affiliated with them. It’s just that, this always happens , so here in Gamer Pinoy we always remind our fellow gamers to download way before the launch date, February 26, 2009.

Just use the torrent download and don’t close after you do. Pag nagka-open lang ang torrent nyo, you help your fellow gamers to download from torrent as well. More seeds, the faster the download you provide for your fellow gamers.

Digitel DSL Special Force (SF) Connection Problem Notice

JIV CyberCafe emailed us with their problem that from these past few days they weren’t able to connect to SF servers. The game client just crash if you click within the 30 seconds interval when choosing a server to connect to.

Rohan Online was actually released last year May 28, 2008 (Open Beta) in Korea, its developer YNK Korea (almost the same company), its publisher YNK Interactive.

It’s a Fantasy MMORPG with quite unique game features.

System requirements are:

CPU: Intel Pentium 4 (2.4 GHZ), AMD Sempron 2.0 GHZ

Revenge System

Rohan’s exclusive Revenge System enables you to keep track of your PVP battle outcomes. What’s more is that you can avenge yourself at any time to kill anyone who has killed you in the past!

Now, I don’t know about this one. I hope religious sectors won’t see this, as revenge is bad.

The Hit List records the most recent 50 battles that you have engaged in and their respective opponents and outcomes. Through the Revenge System, you can verify the log in status of the any player in your Hit List, and through Vengeance, teleport to that player and be afforded a rematch.

As is always said, “Revenge is a dish best served cold” and here in Rohan, you’re the master chef. You can take your revenge in any way you want: Wait for your victim to be alone in the field, ambush him inside a dungeon, or even bring a whole party against him!

Although Vengeance grants you only one opportunity to avenge yourself against your killer recorded in your Hit List, you can purchase additional attempts from the Vengeance Charge NPCs stationed in each town.

Township Battles

The Township Battle is a massive PVP battle system taking place on independent battlefields instead of ordinary fields. Each town in the world of Rohan Online can be occupied by a single guild, allowing them to levy taxes on the shopkeepers and all trading within that town.

Even better is the fact that Township Battle winners get to wear unique “Champion’s Armor” that would distinguish them from the rest of the competition.

The Township Battle is not complicated: to win, simply be the guild with the most number of Township Battle points at the end of the battle and occupy at least one Township Battle Stronghold.

Gaining points is as simple as killing members of an enemy guild, taking over a Township Battle Stronghold Point, and maintaining control of a Stronghold Point.

However, combat will be fierce, and mastering the map may be the key to your victory. The battle map appears like numerous castles, complete with high walls that archers can shoot from. Stronghold Points may not be easy to find within the town’s walls, so it will definitely require a combination of speed and strategy to win.

This is like Ragnarok’s WOE (War of Emperium), but instead will be more like the medieval times where you always guard your castle.

Exchange Center

First ever in the Philippines, Rohan Online will give its players the chance to sell their items, in-game currency, and even their characters through a secure web-based system. Now, you can avoid being scammed because the web system ensures that an actual item is being sold.

There was a rumor spreading over the net about SF Special force incompatible w/ AMD cpu’s, well according to mygame forum it is true.

You have to download the zip file from http://www.amd.com/us-en/assets/content_type/utilities/setup.zip to fix this.

How to install Special Force Online PH using manual patchers

If you have the latest game client, sometimes you will only need the latest patch. As I have said before there are times the game publishers forgot to update their latest game client thus I call “the-not-so-latest-full-game-client”. You have to go to the procedure of cumulative patching like in Audition Dance Battle installation procedures.

I will not discuss cumulative patch here in SF, since they tend to have good auto-patching and manual patching, sooner or later SF will experience cumulative manual patching if their servers can’t handle the load if lot’s of gamer pinoys connect to the server for auto-patching.

So we will go on with manual patching.

Again, go to Special Force Online PH Game Download Section

Download Manual Patch.

This is approximately 4.2mb file, so it won’t take that long.

Run the file, Browse your Special Force Online PH game directory folder, then click Patch!

Launch the game, Login your username and password and wait for the Game Guard to finish updating.

Remember, if you have Game Guard problems, just delete the game guard folder and let it update again.

Done.

Well, this problem is spreading over the net when you install Audition Latest Full Game Client. Actually this happens when you install the Not-so-latest-full game client on your pc and you jumped to install the latest game patch thinking that’s it. Unfortunately, E-Games doesn’t provide the most recent game patch. So you have to go all the way from 6027 up to 6035 patches.

It’s either you auto-patch (which is darn long) or download the manual patch, which is rather convenient actually. In case you crash your system again and have to install audition on your pc. Atleast you have a backup copy since patch 6027 and the not-so-latest-full game client

Actually, I object to the name of the Game Client “Latest Full Game Client”. I thought it was a “rumor” at first when I was told I should download the other game patches, since auto patching will take a long time.

Good news to you guys, you won’t experience the terror of installing audition problem rumors as I went through. Here in Gamer Pinoy we will bring you up to date install and download guides. We will bring you fresh step-by-step guide which is comprehensive at all ages. (We are not talking to the kids, yeah we are talking to you all over-aged! Arg! Arg! Arg!)

After downloading the Game Client, you have to install lots of patches. All the way from Patch 6027 up to 6034. Rumors has it that there is already 6035…

Manually download Patch files 6027 to 6034, I suggest using Free Download Manager Lite if you don’t have a download manager yet.
