Well I thought it was, while googling for it again checking if there is any news I was a bit of “ooh” when I saw their download page.
I checked their What’s new page and they did continue the project.
Before, mySQL-front is one of the “free” mySQL GUI, althought not open-source or freedom software. It sits right next to phpmyadmin in my list. Last time I heard for mySQL-front is that they stopped the project because of some issues w/ mySQL itself being a “free” mySQL GUI.
After reading the time difference when it stopped, 16 of Jun 2006. They resume the project 27 of Oct 2007 more than a year after. I still use it way back in 2006 till now, but only till now that I knew it was resume more than a year after. Maybe its because I didn’t have problem using the very very old version.
