World of Warcraft Major Update – Patch 3.0.2 “Echoes of Doom”
Finally, the moment we World of Warcraft players have been waiting for has arrived! According to Blizzard, Echoes of Doom is the last major The Burning Crusade update. This means we are one step closer to WotLK!
Echoes of Doom (v3.0.2) adds the following exciting features to the World of Warcraft:
- An achievements system
- The new 51-point talent trees
- An in-game calendar
- Barbershops to change your hairstyle
- A mount and pet storage in your interface
- A new profession: Inscription
…plus many more! Although you will still need to purchase the Wrath of the Lich King expansion (which is due to be released on November 13) to get to level 80 and to learn the new profession, as well as visit Northrend and play as a Death Knight, you will still be able to get access to the 51-point talents, the barbershops and many other features.

Wrath of the Lich King is the second expansion to the highly successful MMORPG World of Warcraft, the first being The Burning Crusade. Wrath of the Lich King is scheduled for release on November 13 for U.S. and November 14 for Australia.
